Job Title: Curriculum Designer: Music Theory
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified teacher/subject matter expert to design and author a semester-length high school Music Theory course. As Curriculum Designer, you will, under the direction of the Managing Editor:
• Apply strong teaching, research, and writing skills to the authoring, editing, and/or reviewing of academic content, ensuring compliance standards/design specifications
• Work with curriculum and creative teams to develop subject- and grade-appropriate multimedia
Full-time/Contract: Contract

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Education or discipline-specific degree (e.g. Music Education, Music)
• Ability to commit to and meet deadlines
• Ability to evaluate academic content from multiple perspectives
• Strong reading, writing, editing, and research sills
• Teaching experience in K-12
• Background in educational publishing, educational technology, instructional design, or assessment a plus
