Director of School Sales
The Director of School Sales will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the Global Christian School market. Staffs and directs the sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability, customer satisfaction and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training motivational and educational programs for clients and Territory Reps.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development and implementation of an annual sales/marketing plan
- Management of staff located in the field and at corporate
- Work closely with all key areas of the corporate team including Operations, Product Development, Software Development, Tech Support and other groups
- Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Territory Reps. to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Territory Reps sales and activity performance.
- Insures that all Territory Reps. meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Territory Reps. to build motivation and selling skills.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Presentation Skills
- Proven successful performance managing and building sales teams
- Ability to mentor, train and coach sales teams in remote locations
- Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales. Strong experience managing others
- Experience with CRM enterprise software solutions
