Marketing Channel Manager
This person will work within the Creative Marketing Group to coordinate, plan, and manage a variety of marketing projects. This person will help lead long-term and short-term projects related to advertising and promotions, print publications, product development, website and e-commerce development, and otherwise in accordance with department and company objectives and goals.
This job requires initiative to find and communicate the information and details related to all projects. It calls for collaboration with other departments, colleagues, and business partners to determine goals and timelines. It also demands the ability to understand the logical sequence of projects and timelines to determine availability of CMG staff for new or urgent projects, rearranging timelines as necessary. Strong organizational skills and communication skills are needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
• Review new projects and gather any missing information until project is approved for production.
• Set tasks and timelines of all projects for CMG staff.
• Schedule initial vision meeting and follow-up production meetings as necessary for every project.
• Assist CMG staff and project requestors with questions.
• Work with the print buyer to help determine print options, pricing, etc. when applicable.
• Help find and manage external resources, including tracking their invoices.
• Coordinate creation and finalization of mailing lists from our database and rental lists.
• Create paginations for print projects when required.
Promotions and Advertising:
• Help determine specials and sales for web and print advertising.
• Create, assign, and maintain key codes connected to specials and offers.
• Field and coordinate advertising opportunities.
• Maintain advertising budget and contracts.
• Coordinate the sending of materials to business partners.
• Send product samples to business partners when appropriate for product reviews.
Product and Pricing Maintenance:
• Maintain product pricing and updates in company database, including short-term specials.
• Help select new ancillary products as needed for catalogs and websites.
• Help coordinate discontinuation of ancillary or other products in catalogs and websites.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or other related field is preferred. Experience in writing and/or editing is also beneficial.
