3 Homeschool Room Hacks

One of the best parts about homeschooling is that you don’t have to have the traditional school setup and rooms can be multi-purposed. However, if you use the dining room as a place for your homeschoolers to gather while they complete their schoolwork throughout the day, you’re going to need a place to store their school supplies.
Here are three quick homeschool room hacks to help keep you organized throughout the school year:
1. Color code.
Each of your homeschoolers should have his or her own materials, and a great way to keep them from getting confused (or lost) is to color code each item.
2. Use storage baskets/bins.
Storage bins are great to store curriculum you aren’t currently using. Post a label on the front side to keep track of the curriculum and materials inside and stack them on top of each other for easy storage.
3. Take advantage of wall space.
Hang thin magnetic strips on your walls. These strips can be used to keep track of metal items that you use often like scissors, rulers, and clipboards.
