30 Days of Thankfulness

Rather than thinking of Thanksgiving as a single day of reflection, dedicate the entire month of November to cultivating a heart of gratitude. Use this next month to plant the word of God deeply in your heart, open your Bible to scripture each day, and live with thankfulness to God.

Day 1 – 1 Chronicles 16:1-11
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”

Day 2 – 1 Chronicles 23:28-31
“They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening.”

Day 3 – 1 Chronicles 29:10-13
“Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.”

Day 4 – Psalm 7:17
“I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord most high.”

Day 5 – Psalm 9:1-10
“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”

Day 6 – Psalm 13:5-6
“I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.”

Day 7 – Psalm 22:22-23
“I will declare your name to my people; in the assembly I will praise you.”

Day 8 – Psalm 30:1-5
“Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name.”

Day 9 – Psalm 35:17-18
“I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among the throngs I will praise you.”

Day 10 – Psalm 69:30-36
“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”

Day 11 – Psalm 75:1
“We praise you, God, we praise you, for your name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.”

Day 12 – Psalm 95:1-7
“Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.”

Day 13 – Psalm 100:1-5
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

Day 14 – Psalm 105:1-4
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”

Day 15 – Psalm 107:1-9
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

Day 16 – Psalm 118:20-24
“The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.”

Day 17 – Psalm 145:17-21
“My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.”

Day 18 – Psalm 147:1-7
“Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praise to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!”

Day 19 – Isaiah 12:4-6
“Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.”

Day 20 – Jeremiah 30:18-19
“From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing.”

Day 21 – Daniel 2:19-23
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.”

Day 22 – Luke 22:17-23
“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’”

Day 23 – Acts 27:33-38
“After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all.”

Day 24 – 1 Corinthians 1:4-9
“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.”

Day 25 – Ephesians 1:15-23
“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”

Day 26 – Philippians 4:4-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”

Day 27 – Colossians 3:15-17
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

Day 28 – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“…give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Day 29 – Philemon 1:4-7
“I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers.”

Day 30 – Hebrews 13:15-18
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.”
