Easy Stained-Glass Window Craft

Using around-the-house supplies, you can bring the beauty of church sanctuaries to your home this Easter!

Materials
Washable paints
Paper cups
Dish soap
Masking tape or painter’s tape
Paint brush

Instructions

1. Put your paint into paper cups using a separate cup for each color.

2. Add a small splash of water and 1 drop of dish soap to each color. Mix gently.

3. Test your paint in a small corner of your window to confirm that the paint will come off your window. (Window cleaner should remove the paint, but if it doesn’t, rubbing alcohol should do the trick.)

4. For the stained-window effect, use the masking tape to outline a cross and add as many lines going out from the cross as you like.

5. Paint each section of tape a different color for a beautiful, mosaic stained-glass effect.

6. For more free-spirited kids, skip the tape and let them paint whatever comes to their imagination.
