My husband and I are currently make the decision to home school our son with Autism. He is currently in regular classroom but with struggle this year. God has been leading me to homeschool for a long time but I did not think I could do it. I have three other children and as a Christian family I am finally listening and stepping out on faith and God's direction is home schooling my school next year -6th grade. I hope to follow with my other kids. Alpha Omega-programs seem to fit my son's style of learning and this opportunity would be great way to start our son's academic learning next year.

We have had many homeschool families say that Switched-On Schoolhouse has been a blessing for their child with autism. I am lifting this in prayer. We've been using SOS for 10 years now and love it. I've recommended it so many times to others to use because it's so good. This year we sure could use some help in purchasing it as things have gotten harder for us, but the 1 thing we aren't giving up is homeschooling. Our only child is almost through his education and the finish line is so attainable we're not giving up now.

I started homeschooling my 6TH grade son this week due to some emotional issues he was having at school, and bullying issues.

He loves it so far...thinking I might continue next year if this is what God wants me to do.

After reading most of the comments here, I thank God that I was blessed to have been able to buy my son his curriculum on the Sale day for 20% off, and that I am able to afford it as a divorced Mom of 2 adopted special needs boys...(learning disabilities and fetal alcohol, ADD/ADHD, etc..)

I agree that this is a wonderful opportunity for some lucky/blessed family to win, and I pray for all of you and know whomever wins truely needs this blessing and gift from above..

I am so grateful for this opportunity. My eldest child (age 15) is moving through the ninth grade Lifepac at a breakneck pace. I am going to be moving her up in Apr. if not sooner. She just started the curriculum last week. Yes I know it is fast but to make up for the missing components of the Public School system I needed to start a bit behind where she really was.

My 13 yr. old daughter and I simply LOVE the Monarch program! We are pleased with the variety it offers. The videos are great tools that explain certain things in the lesson in a short amount of time. Homeschooling is such a gift and honor to do! I have being using AOP for more than ten years. First for my son and he is now doing his master in industry psychology, USA. Then follow by my daughter, she is now doing a diploma in Christian Counselling in a Baptist Seminary, Penang, Malaysia. I am still using AOP now for the church homeschool. It is great!
