Representing the 40 days Jesus fasted in the wilderness, Lent is an annual Christian period that starts on Ash Wednesday and lasts for 40 days (not including Sundays). Living in a “me first” world, Lent is a wonderful opportunity to be like Christ by loving and serving our neighbors.
