Homemade Hot Chocolate

The children have just come in from playing outside in the snow. Their noses, cheeks, and fingers are red and tingling from the cold. They have that look in their eyes, and you know they want something hot to drink. Don't keep them waiting! Serve them in minutes with this economical and delicious recipe for homemade hot chocolate.

Ingredients
4 lb. box of instant nonfat dry milk
6 oz. jar of coffee creamer
15 oz. box of powdered chocolate milk mix
¼ to ½ cup of powdered sugar

Directions
Mix ingredients and store in an air tight container. For a single serving, pour 1 ½ cups of hot water (or milk, for a richer flavor) into ¾ cup of hot chocolate mix. Add marshmallows (optional). Serve immediately and watch your children warm up with smiles and giggles.

Since this mixture keeps well in an air tight container, you can easily double or triple this recipe to make it last through the cold winter months. Best of all, your children can easily serve themselves and their friends.
