Although homeschooling is legal in all 50 states, you need to know your state’s homeschooling laws and file any necessary paperwork or meet additional requirements before your school year begins. REGULATION LEVELS
No Requirements: Parents do not need to initiate contact.

Low Regulation: Parents must notify schools.

Moderate Regulation: Parents must submit notification, test scores, and/or professional evaluation of student progress.

High Regulation: Additional requirements like curriculum approval, teacher qualification of parents, or home visits are required.
