Make Paper May Day Baskets with Your Kids
Posted in Homeschool View on Thursday, April 27, 2017
Like flowers eventually do themselves, May Basket Day has drooped in popularity across the country. However, May 1 is still an excellent opportunity in the year to express your love and best wishes for your family and neighbors. If you want to surprise someone with a thoughtful spring gift this year, try making these colorful, paper May Day baskets with your kids.
Materials
Gift Wrap or Construction Paper
Scissors
Tape
Hole Puncher
Ribbon

2. Cut a scalloped edge on top of the cone.
3. Punch a hole on both sides of your cone and slide the ribbon through the holes.
4. Tie your gift tag onto the ribbon.
5. Fill your basket with flowers or other small, meaningful gifts.
6. Make someone smile by hanging your creation on a doorknob.
