New Monarch Dashboard Design

Alpha Omega Publications continues to add exciting, user-friendly features to Monarch, its online homeschool curriculum! The latest updates include two new dashboard elements for students and teachers that make daily homeschooling tasks easier and more convenient.

Homeschool families can now enjoy a new and improved functionality for internal messages. Located under the Message Tab on Monarch's dashboard, messages are more easily processed with appropriate subject lines, the number of new messages, and unread icons displayed for all unopened communications. Plus, if more than five unread messages appear, remaining emails can be accessed simply by clicking on the "MORE" link.

Another user-friendly addition to Monarch includes quick access to daily tasks. Rather than having to go into the Monarch program, students now have a dashboard location where they can instantly see all their daily assignments hyperlinked to the lessons. What's more, Monarch parents can skip the effort required to click through the Lesson Plan Tab and instead find new grading tasks marked and grouped by student for any completed essay questions and projects. That's not all. The time-saving grading task widget also lets parents know if there are no grading tasks or shows a "See All" link if there are a large number of problems to grade.

Monarch Software Fixes

The Quiz Bowl review game, found at the end of some Monarch lessons, has been fixed to now work properly when using the Firefox browser.
