This one I don't understand, some parents aren't qualified to teach certain subjects. I went to elementary, middle and high school. I know this stuff. I do not understand how an expensive piece of paper qualifies a teacher more than any parent who also already knows the information. We also have plenty of resources. Libraries and internet is not hard to come by. Right now, I bet my husband is making 20,000 a year or less and we are doing fine on resources.

And if we have poor resources and poor curriculum why are homeschool kids scoring higher? :) I'd say there's no cons.
