Give your child an appreciation and understanding of manufacturing processes in the 21st century with this Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective for grades 9-12. Throughout the semester-long course, students discover how many technologies and industries operate to produce products that are desirable, affordable, and effective. They also gain an understanding of how the industry continues to identify customer needs. In addition, students have the opportunity to explore what careers are available within the manufacturing industry. Purchase of this individual Monarch course grants access to one child for 18 months beginning on the date of activation.
Careers in Manufacturing Processes is a semester-long elective for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in manufacturing, product development, or the process of bringing a product to market.
The course leads students through the process of production, from planning and testing to distribution. It also discusses topics such as product quality, assembly methodologies, raw materials, workplace safety, and testing prototypes.
