A well-known retailer has dedicated the month of May (M.O.M.) to celebrating moms (and dads) by offering a helpful parenting tip each day of the month. Here are five of our favorite creative solutions from Babies “R” Us:

Baby Brake Pads
Add puffy paint to the soles of your toddler’s shoes for an inexpensive way to prevent wipeouts on your smooth floors.

Gather some adhesive hooks, string, and clothespins to proudly display your child’s artwork around the kids’ table or wherever you choose to display her mini museum.

You may have purchased baby wipes to remove something else, but they also work as a cheaper way to clean your face for those days your natural beauty needs a little boost.

Okay, that name maybe isn’t very appealing, but the next time your child has a slight bump on his head, cool it with a diaper that’s been saturated in water and frozen. Of course, the bag of peas and carrots will still work, too.
