While it’s easy to see the living areas of your home in need of attention, there are some often overlooked areas that also require attention. Use the moderate temperatures and this spring home maintenance guide checklist to make sure your home is in top shape for another year.

1. Clean Gutters and Downspouts
Keeping your gutters and downspouts free of clogs from leftover leaves from autumn or spring’s helicopter seeds is an important way to protect your home from water damage.

2. Inspect Roof and Chimney
Ice and snow buildup can lead to damage that leads to leaks and heat loss.

3. Touch Up Paint
